A Workshop of Herbcraft, Healing Fire & Lunar Lore Step into a workshop devoted to mugwort (Artemisia)—dream herb, moon ally, and guardian of thresholds. This hands-on class explores the magic, lore, and embodied wisdom of this ancient plant, including its relationship to dreaming, the lunar cycle, and traditional healing fire practices. Together we’ll work with mugwort in several forms: learning its mythic and cross-cultural history, crafting wild mugwort into moxa, and experiencing a gentle group moxabustion session using moxa boxes. These practices invite warmth, circulation, and grounded connection with the plant’s medicinal and energetic qualities. The workshop also includes shared moonsongs, sung together in a softly held women’s ritual space, accompanied by live harp. Song, story, and fire weave a container for rest, resonance, and ancestral remembering. Participants leave...

Nature Constellations is a gentle, embodied way of listening with the living world. Rather than working only with human family systems, we invite land, elements, weather, animals, and unseen forces to take their place in the field. Stones may speak, rivers may carry memory, wind may reveal timing. Through simple movement, witnessing, and resonance, what has been tangled finds a new order. Nature does not analyze. It remembers. And in that remembering, something in us comes back into right relationship.     Nature Constellations will be shared by Sarah MacLean Bicknell ...

My workshops are an invitation to learn the foundations of plant dye alchemy. Plant dyeing is the oldest way of capturing color on textiles and is used among many different cultures. In class, you’ll be able to witness the alchemical beauty of transforming undyed organic fibers into living color pieces. We will discuss and experiment with: mordants, fibers, plants to grow, plants to identify in your back yard, sustainability, sourcing, proper disposal, water, modifiers and resists. You’ll be guided through a step by step process of natural dyeing using various resist techniques to create texture, design, pattern, variation and allure. Utilizing a rainbow of colors extracted from flowers, trees, bugs, bark, leaves, food waste and minerals. This class will support your journey of walking in color...

Are you afraid of your nightmares? Do you ever wonder what they mean and how you can work through them? In this dream class, we will bravely dive into our nightmares. We will learn how our soul is communicating with us through these nightmares and we will uncover the medicine that lies within so we can turn the fear of our nightmares into freedom in the dreamtime. There will be a history on nightmares shared with the class, and then a discussion around allies we can use to aid in navigating our nightmares. We will collectively travel back into a nightmare together in order to find the medicine and dream a better outcome. We will also journey to find an ancestral dream ally we can...

Across lifetimes, the soul carries stories, lessons, and emotional imprints that continue to shape who we are today. These imprints live not only in the mind but in the subtle body, the energetic field that surrounds and flows through the physical body. The subtle body holds memory, intuition, stored emotion, and the deeper layers of consciousness that often influence our choices and reactions long before the mind makes sense of them. When a past-life pattern remains unresolved, it often echoes through our physical, emotional, and mental planes. It may show up as familiar triggers, repeating relational dynamics, chronic tension in specific areas of the body, or a sense of “I have felt this forever and do not know why.” These imprints are not random. They are the...

Women have been sitting in circles and crafting for centuries. During this class we will take a journey into the ancient techniques of weaving, where we will not only learn the skill but also discover the therapeutic benefits of working with natural materials. We will be using one of the oldest basket weaving techniques, coil weaving, to weave pine needle baskets. A style practiced by many people groups. This class will provide a supportive and collaborative environment, providing women with a space to share stories, connect, and celebrate the shared experience of creating art with nature's elements. Pine Needle Baskets will be offered by Rosie Hope, who is also offering Coal Burned Spoons....

Meet some of our plant neighbors and learn how to identify them. You'll learn some easily identifiable characteristics of a few plant families, as well as how to decipher some leaf and flower vocabulary used in plant books, so that you can go on to use a plant key in your local area. We will walk in two to three distinct habitats on the land, identifying plants by leaf characteristics and structure, and flower characteristics whenever possible. We will also touch on some medicinal and edible uses as we go along meeting our green kin, and share respectful approaches to receiving their generous gifts. Long pants and shoes are recommended, due to poison oak next to the trails. Dharmika will be sharing a Plant Identification Walk and Chant...

For nearly 4,000 years, humans across cultures used dowsing as a practical, everyday skill; to find water, track animals, locate medicinal plants, and make decisions in relationship with the land. This class is an invitation to reclaim that long-held art, not as superstition or fortune-telling, but as practical tool for connecting with the subtle intelligence of our bodies. In this workshop, we’ll explore dowsing through both ancestral and modern lenses. The tools themselves (pendulums, rods, forked branches, even simple objects like keys on a string,) are not the source of the information. Our bodies are. Dowsing works through the ideomotor response: subtle, unconscious micro-movements through which the body continuously responds to its environment. We experience this all the time — leaning toward what nourishes us, pulling back...
