Annyea Healy resides in the Northern Sierra Foothills within Nisenan Territory, tending to her homestead along side her family.   Anna has been working with earthen materials since very young, first beginning making small clay pots from a cave she grew up tending to. She majored in ceramics in college and had spent her life practicing carpentry with her master carpenter father. She fell in love with cob in late 2017 when her partner introduced her to this way of building and they then went onto build a 800 Sq. Ft. Cob home. Since then, she has built numerous other buildings including light straw clay, strawbale and more cob. She works as a professional natural plasterer along with tending to her painting career.
