Arwyn Moonrise is an embroidery artist with a natural gift for teaching the craft in a fun and practical manner. She learned to embroider during her childhood watching her mother mend and adorn the families clothing on their organic blueberry farm in rural Maine, and reconnected with stitching later in life. Fueled by her passion for creating, recognizing the power of bespoke sacred garments, and wanting to help reduce fashion waste by giving vintage/used clothing new life, she started her custom embroidery business, Township 31 (named after the township in Maine she grew up in). Arwyn creates one-of-a-kind custom pieces for her clients as a way to create sacred adornment through the art of prayer and storytelling.   Growing up in Virginia, Brittany spent most of her time outside—exploring, observing, and experimenting. Over the last decade, returning to those early habits, she has spent her time working outdoors, foraging, making art, and founding an outdoor school. Her natural dye practice began while teaching young children outside, playing with flowers, leaves, and fabric as a way to explore color, curiosity, and the living world together. Outside of her forest school, Brittany spends her time with her family and new baby, farming and foraging for medicine and materials, and creating in her studio through her business, Walker’s Wild Goods. Her work is rooted in observation, connection, and seasonal cycles—learning directly from plants through foraging, gardening, and working with natural fibers. Through her teaching, she invites others to slow...

I am a mother, herbalist, teacher, partner, multi creative, and traveler. My life has been shaped by a consistent rhythm of curiosity and by acting on my highest excitement when opportunities arise. I’ve been studying herbalism for more than 15 years and have run a brick-and-mortar apothecary since 2016 on the island where I grew up. I’ve been teaching in person for many years, and last year I created an online container for my work, where I host long-form, hands-on herbalism and ritual-based courses. A significant part of my current life path and skills teaching has been shaped by spending 72 days living solo off the land in the foothills of the Andes, an experience documented on the show Alone. I later went on to co-host the official...
