Seed of Creation: Exploring the Seat of our Power Within a dominant culture that is so conflicted about reproductive rights, it’s not surprising that many of us feel disconnected from our creative potential. Traditional knowledge understands the pelvic region as the seat of our power: a source of creation that connects us with ancestors, with our potential, and with the great mystery. This is where manifestation seeds, where we can draw upon the resilience of our lineages, and where we hope to heal insecurity. During this workshop we will explore ways to work with Plant Spirit Medicine to connect, restore, and strengthen this sacred part of our bodies. We will unpack ways to work energetically with herbal medicine to clear a path for a spiritual, emotional, and...

Ever been told that you’re stuck up? Have you been called bougie, prissy, high saddity, high maintenance, selfish, a bitch, or my personal favorite… A selfish bitch? Yep, me too. And I love it. Hear me out. I know that you carry deep wounding from feeling rejected for having your own desires which has consistently led you to self-abandon in deference to others. Or if you do self advocate, you do so with shame, fear, and a shaky voice. Or, like many Women who’ve experienced trauma and mistreatment, you advocate for yourself in a way that is toxic, mean, and verbally violent. If you frequently slide into the energy of “going off” or “checking someone” or “telling someone about themselves”, this is definitely for you. What if you could learn to embrace...

Earthenware is a dialogue with the elements; listening to and learning from the ways of fire, the personalities of clay, and the alchemy of color and form. When we shape wild clays, made like us of bones and blood, and offer our creations to the fire, our intentions are transformed and fortified. Pit firing foraged clay vessels is practiced by many cultures around the world, each with rich pottery traditions, cuisines, and histories. With the prevalence of modern technological methods and commercial clay companies, the inherent connection between ceramics and the land has become abstracted. The very use of wild clays in this craft can be a profoundly enriching way to connect with the landscape we call home and literally build relationship with it. We will gather...

Imagine a group 30-100+ folks in a circle, singing… together. The song leader teaches easy to learn songs in an acappella style and the group echos them back. These songs are sung together collectively as invitations to move stagnated emotions in the body and to be in our bodies as we notice what arises for us as we sing together. Ahlay offers a 2 hour container invoking connection that serves as a catalyst to discuss + sit with taboo topics in our culture and movements for collective liberation. Participants may audio record these songs and share/sing them outside the circle as a supplement to any craft or daily life activity. Songs for Grief & unknown will be shared by Alexandra "Ahlay" Blakley" ...
