Latine Herbalism: The Art of Cacao for Feminine Wellness

In Meso-American times cacao was used through out the various stages of women’s rites of passage. From maiden, to mother, and to crone, cacao was looked at for vitality, emotional connection, and hormonal health. In this unique offering you will be guided in the tenants of the Red Tent while experiencing practices in which cacao can be used for it’s benefits internally and externally on the body. While this is not a cacao ceremony, this is an offering for deeper connection to your feminine inner wisdom. We will share in this ancient plant medicine as a partner in slowing down and honoring the body’s wisdom. Open to those with a uterus (bleeding and non-bleeding), pregnant and nursing.

This is a hands-on experiential offering is co-facilitated by Josie Castaneda, author of ‘Latine Herbalism’ and Natasha Pachalove featured in the book ‘Latine Herbalism’.
