29 Dec Knitting Prayers and Intentions
This workshop is an invitation to learn the basics of knitting (casting on & knit stitch)
We will begin a simple beginner level scarf using the knit stitch only (also called the garter stitch)
We will also cultivate a practice of setting an intention or making a prayer and weaving that in with each stitch of our scarf.
Participants will leave with the beginnings of a hand knit scarf.
Participants will receive:
-1 skein of soft, chunky 100% merino wool (hand dyed from peru)
-size 13 circular bamboo knitting needles
-printout with beginner knitting resources
