22 Dec Dancing The In Between Womb Circle
Dancing The In Between Womb Circle invites women to gather in a safe, facilitated container, to share, learn, grow, be inspired, empowered, honored and celebrated through the dance of perimenopause.
“Dancing the in between” speaks to the journey women move through for approximately 4-10 years often beginning in our mid-40’s and moving through to our mid-50’s (age range varies, sometimes beginning earlier or ending later). “Dancing the in between” speaks to the space in between, when a woman is no longer reproductive/ child bearing and not quite an elder. “Dancing the in between” speaks to this period called perimenopause and the journey transitioning to postmenopause. This “dance” is an initiatory life stage that comes with a host of emotional, physical and spiritual “symptoms” or shifts that are often overlooked and not openly discussed or supported in our modern society.
Tamu was called to create Dancing The In Between Womb Circle in the midst of perimenopause, recognizing the need for women to circle up and support each other through this potent transition. In 2021 she called together her BIPOC sister friends to gather for a monthly womb circle to support each other and share their collective wisdom
In our Dancing The In Between Womb Circle we will hold a sacred space for women to share their journey through perimenopause and engage with some of the following topics:
-Our mothers menopause stories
-Ancestral practices around menstruation and menopause
-Honoring our last bleed
-Herbal allies & flower essences to support the dance through perimenopause
-Self care & solitude through the transition
-Letting go/ Inviting in change
-Mourning the loss of the childbearing years
-Body positivity/ acceptance
-Stepping fully into our power
During the circle we will move through the Dancing The In Between Self Guided Journal encouraging reflection, self inquiry, presence and discovery through this potent time of transition. We will also mix up an herbal remedy using herbal allies that support this dance through perimenopause. Woman will leave class with a copy of the Dancing The In Between Self Guided Journal and an herbal remedy we created in class.
Tamu Mosley will be sharing Dancing The In Between Womb Circle
