Unexplored grief is a common condition. Our buried grief and trauma inhibits us, weakens us and contributes to our fear and misery. Our coping mechanisms harms and isolates us. In our modern world, there is much to grieve; climate change, war and unfettered greed, a recent global pandemic, the list is endless. What is the antidote to the sorrows we carry? As a midwife and a Buddhist chaplain, I have led grief and loss circles for medical students, fellow midwives, those in recovery programs and the public for many years. I have counseled individuals with birth trauma. In this circle, we tell our stories in circle, giving our sadness room to breathe. Holding ourselves and each other in kindness and mercy, we will deeply listen with...

Generally sitting for Tea is an “aimless” act. A space to arrive and just be, dropping away all agendas. However, if we did have one goal — just one, it would be for guest and host to meet in that space, merge and become One. As we return to the tea space often, there are subtle acts of awareness and etiquette we can be mindful of to help cultivate this space of Oneness. We will begin our time together in silence, sharing in the medicine of the Leaf and together explore how to approach the tea space with a greater awareness.   Guest and Host becoming One will be shared by Baelyn Elspeth...

We are emerging out of thousands of years of a different sense of ourselves as women, and with this comes a need to reconnect to the roots of who we are. By attending to, nurturing, and healing the broken matriarchal lineages, we are able to feel our full sovereignty and dignity. Now, we can stand alongside the strong and loving women on our line. With joy and solidarity, we will gather in circle, as ancient as a circle of women has been and is. We will face and name our fears of standing in our fullness. We will bless our Mothers before us to be, and to hold what is theirs and then we will go to the river and celebrate our new sense of being...

Step into a sacred relationship with water and discover how to transform your land into a living altar for Gaia’s healing. In this workshop, we’ll explore the many ways to honor and manage water on your land—rain gardens, graywater systems, pervious pavements, rain tanks, and more — transformative tools that mimic nature’s design to protect from drought and flooding, invite native flora and pollinators to thrive, and bring our own lives into a closer relationship with Earth’s waters. Weaving the science of water cycles with the art of earth connection, we will learn how to hold, infiltrate, reuse, and celebrate water on our land that nourishes both planet and spirit. Feel the textures of soil, water, and natural materials as we explore hands-on techniques that bring...
