  Lauren Godla is a dance artist, director and movement educator based out of Gasquet, CA. She graduated with a BA in Exercise Biology and a Minor in Dance from UC Davis in 2012. She spent the following decade teaching yoga, performing, choreographing, studying movement and playing on rivers across the west. She co-directed and performed for FloorPlay Dance Comedy and toured and performed nationally with BANDALOOP, a Vertical Dance Company based out of Oakland. In 2020 she moved home to Del Norte County and in 2021 she founded DiRT & Glitter, an environmental art organization that creates site-specific productions. Having been brought up in South Florida, Lexy was always found in nature and in the Ocean. She found the natural world to be most inspiring to her and went out to receive a degree in Biology. After receiving her degree is when she decided to dig a lot more deeply into the wild herbs and foraging world. Learning how to make her own medicine from the surrounding plants set her off on a completely different journey from the one she was currently on. Lily Chau was born and raised in the green mountain state of Vermont. Surrounded by many folks who worked with and studied plants; she naturally became interested in exploring this world, the plant kingdom/queendom at an early age. She transplanted to California in 2014 to study Jewelry Fabrication, Textiles and Herbalism. Which later led her to the California School of Herbal Studies in 2018 where she since decided to stay.
