03 Jan Miriam Grace
Miriam Grace (she/they) has been studying and sharing wilderness survival and earth living skills for over fifteen years. Her work strives to merge sustainability, beauty making, craft, and resilience through ancestral arts and a deepening connection to the natural world.
Born and raised in an intentional community in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas, Miriam’s lifelong closeness to nature and spirituality has intimately informed her experiences and offerings.
Miriam received extensive education at the Tracker School in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey as a young adult, and has since studied traditional crafts and earth skills on her own and with mentors from many walks of life. She has led workshops and run programs independently and in collaboration with other schools, events, and skills gatherings for people of all ages across the US and in Europe.
Miriam has been an integral part of Spirit Weavers Gathering since its second year: birthing and tending the Hearth Fire and supporting the heart and flow of the gathering.
Miriam will be sharing Courting Fire: Intro to Friction Fire.
