31 Dec Sea Ana Maria
Sea thrives as a MexicaKanaka Maoli2Spirit//Mahu movement & gardening educator, interdisciplinary visual artist, community organizer, medicine maker, body worker, fire flow dancer and haumana. They are honored to mostly spend their days under the sun-connecting youth to the power of their potential through spatially dynamic play and deep connection with our aloha ‘aina.
Inspired by movement as a catalyst for catharsis and refinement of the will, Sea is illuminated by guiding others into fuller embodiment of their physical being. They strive towards strengthening students’ connection to their confidence, personal dynamic, attuned skill, and body geography.
While participating in ‘Rod, Stave and Spear’ folks will begin working with copper rods and staves through movements that connect them to their finger dexterity, limb & shoulder mobility, strength of posture and golden core. They will then hone into focus with spear throwing cultivating a grace with gravity, unified body rhythm and sense for active visualization.
Sea Ana Maria Kalokomaika’imaikalanimai Kawaipuaikawaokahaku Lee will be sharing Rod, Stave and Spear.
