We will be demystifying medicine making through this hands on workshop. What is herbal extraction and why do we do it? What are tinctures and how do you craft them? Why might you tincture an herb instead of making a tea? We will cover use of fresh herbs vs. dried, folk method vs. scientific method, and maceration vs. percolation.
This class is wonderful for beginners and those seasoned medicine makers, as there is always something to learn in the practice of folk herbalism.
During our time together. you will get the opportunity choose from our herb selection to start your very own tincture using one of the methods described. You will also take home a hand stitched zine containing everything covered in class so that you may continue this practice at home.
