23 Dec Sacred wRite
Long before books, long before we held instruments that catch language and ink it on a page, our ancestors gathered around firelight to share stories. With nothing but breath and imagination, they shared their experience: what they learned, what they didn’t understand, what they yearned for, hoped, grieved, and loved. Story taught our way back people how to survive. But more than that, it taught them how to belong to one another and to the world.
When we tell stories now, we are practicing the same ancient magic–transforming experience into meaning.
In this writing workshop, we honor who we are and all we’ve moved through. We write to uncover what’s waiting inside us– to know ourselves more intimately and remember how deeply human we are. Through story, we find our medicine. Through story, we discover we are not alone. Through story, we celebrate our sacred rite.
Ali Galante will be sharing the writing workshop Sacred wRite.
