The Pussy Power House is a space to be your most radically expressed self! We invite you to get real and talk openly about the issues and challenges we face, while still laughing and sharing together as we all learn and grow. Come take classes on topics such as women’s holistic sexual + reproductive health, personal empowerment, menstruation, STIs, self love, body positivity and more! We want to provide a safe space to go deep and face topics that can be seen as challenging, but approach them from an angle of fun and community support while we equip ourselves with the knowledge and confidence to be able to heal ourselves by ourselves.
At both sessions of the gathering, the Pussy Power House will host a variety of classes and offerings, including daily lunchtime talks and 2 three-hour workshops each day. Nightly group dinner parties on different empowerment related topics will be held for anyone to join.
Corinne Loperfido is a true Renaissance woman who has always been driven to break boundaries and transcend social norms. Her skills span visual and performance art, fashion styling and costume design, community event production, women’s empowerment workshop facilitation and environmental activism. With a background in graphic design, costume and jewelry making, and installation art, she has been weaving together the treads of her creativity into events and interactive experiences of all sizes for the past decade.
In 2017, she created Pussy Power House – a community of women who are dedicated to self love, environmental justice, and personal empowerment through radical education. Together with an ever-expanding roster of collaborators across the globe, they co-creating temporary spaces where women are centered and fully supported in their wild and free self expression. It is a growing community of educators, healers, artists, and activists who create alcohol-free events, mindful workshops, and group art projects focused on women’s empowerment and environmental issues. Corinne believes that the reclaiming of our personal power through body literacy and taking personal responsibility of our consumption on the earth are political acts that everyone has the ability to participate in.
Corinne lives nomadically and is most frequently found traveling in her converted van on the West Coast in the summers, or based in New Orleans in the winters. Her motto comes from Socrates : “The Secret of Change Is to Focus All of Your Energy, Not on Fighting the Old, But on Building the New.”
Samantha Zipporah is a practical & radical medicine woman. She is an advocate, educator, & activist who inspires individuals to claim their power through body literacy & sovereignty.
A former birth doula whose roots of study can be found deep in traditional midwifery “womb to tomb” style care, Sam supports her peers with a full spectrum of fertility, sexuality, & pregnancy experiences in personal, professional, & clinical contexts. She provides vital life changing education for everyone from professionals to preteens. Her approach is grounded in a solid understanding of biochemistry & biology, & nourished by a gift for levity & depth of spirituality. Friends have joked that her business tagline should be, “If anything’s going in or out of a cervix, call Sam.
Sam offers guidance & education to folks all over the world via video chat, e-books, & online courses. She also teaches live classes & retreats.
