Corinne Loperfido is a true Renaissance woman who has always been driven to break boundaries and transcend social norms. Her skills span visual and performance art, fashion styling and costume design, community event production, women’s empowerment workshop facilitation and environmental activism. With a background in graphic design, costume and jewelry making, and installation art, she has been weaving together the treads of her creativity into events and interactive experiences of all sizes for the past decade.
In 2017, she created Pussy Power House – a community of women who are dedicated to self love, environmental justice, and personal empowerment through radical education. Together with an ever-expanding roster of collaborators across the globe, they co-creating temporary spaces where women are centered and fully supported in their wild and free self expression. It is a growing community of educators, healers, artists, and activists who create alcohol-free events, mindful workshops, and group art projects focused on women’s empowerment and environmental issues. Corinne believes that the reclaiming of our personal power through body literacy and taking personal responsibility of our consumption on the earth are political acts that everyone has the ability to participate in.
Corinne lives nomadically and is most frequently found traveling in her converted van on the West Coast in the summers, or based in New Orleans in the winters. Her motto comes from Socrates : “The Secret of Change Is to Focus All of Your Energy, Not on Fighting the Old, But on Building the New.”
