28 Dec Nicolette Torres
Nicolette came into this world under a full moon in Southern California. An interracial descendant of Mexican/Native Americans and Northwestern Europeans, she struggled for many years to find ways to connect to her ancestors who, like most immigrants, had assimilated to US standards and left behind their traditions. Nicolette longed for a connection to those who came before her, their wisdom and sacred knowledge. Developing her intuition through the Healing Arts, she was able to dive deeper into old ways. She discovered the power of our ancestry and how restoring a relationship with Spirit can help us evolve as a society. In 2018, she began her piercing and tattoo career with a focus on indigenous markings. She continues to deepen her library of patterns and symbols from all corners of the globe. Her aim is to help folks reconnect to their ancestral roots by marking their body with the same symbols that their people tattooed on them. In this way we may be able to channel our lineage and access the wisdom of our ancestors. Nicolette has dedicated her life to learning more about the original peoples around the world; seeking knowledge, protecting the sacred and actively unifying our efforts and desires for existence, connection, and spirituality.
Nicolette Torres will be hosting the workshop ‘Tattoo Traditions Around the World’
