Metalsmithing Basics

Come learn the basics of metalsmithing in this hands-on introductory class and learn the fundamentals of metalwork. This skillshare covers the essential tools, materials and basic techniques used in metalsmithing.

We will learn how to safely work with non ferrous metals such as cooper, brass and sterling silver while practicing core skills such as filing, sanding, texturing, hammering, forming, soldering and basic finishing.
