This hands-on workshop is designed to deepen understanding of the lymphatic system and its vital role in supporting women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery. Topics we will explore:
* the anatomy and physiology of the lymphatic system and how it changes during pregnancy and after birth
* how to identify signs of lymphatic congestion and stagnation in the body along with other common pregnancy & postpartum concerns
* the role of lymphatic flow in breast health, hormone balance, and tissue healing
* lymphatic and breast massage techniques that are safe, effective, and deeply restorative for the mamas you work with
* how to do a self lymphatic breast massage so you have an embodied understanding of the work
* how to use this gentle massage as a tool for nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and intimacy building with your clients.
You will learn simple, accessible practices that can be woven into prenatal and postpartum care to support circulation, reduce swelling, ease discomfort, and enhance recovery, both for the women you serve and for your own body as a practitioner. Anyone is welcome to join this class, whether you are a mama to be, a birthworker, or just want to deepen your own understanding of your body & breasts/ chest — this class has something for you!
