Class sign ups

🌿 Arriving with Openness

An invitation from Mea

Dearest Weavers,

In just a few short weeks we will gather together beneath the forest canopies once again. As we prepare for our time together, we invite you to begin gently preparing your heart and mind for the days ahead. Many of you have been curious about how class sign ups work, so we wanted to share a little more about the process and the intention behind it.

When we first gather together on Thursday afternoon, teacher introductions will take place before our Opening Ceremony. This is why we ask that you arrive on time, so that you are fully present for introductions and able to sign up for classes afterward. Opening Ceremony will begin promptly at 3pm. You are welcome to arrive anytime after 9am to settle into camp and arrive slowly into the space before we begin together.

After introductions and ceremony, instructors will be announced and will then gather beneath their category signs around the main field.  Class sign ups are last and will begin once all info about the Gathering has been shared.  The signs will be organized into alphabetical categories such as Adornment, Birth & Mothering, Ceremony, Earth and Stone, Fiber Arts, etc, helping everyone find their teachers and offerings more easily. Instructors will also be wearing name tags with their classes listed so they can be easily identified.

Over the years, some attendees have shared that class sign ups can feel exciting, emotional, or even a little overwhelming at first. We understand this completely. With so many beautiful offerings available, it is natural to feel pulled in many directions.

I remember my first skills gathering so clearly. I wanted to take every class offered and was so excited about all of them. That first year, I think I only took three classes the entire week. Some were three hour classes, and some were two day immersions. The fact that I couldn’t take everything actually inspired me to keep returning to the gathering and continue learning over the years. Now, all these years later, I’ve had the opportunity to experience almost every type of class offered.

One of the deeper invitations of this gathering is to practice patience, trust, and openness to the unexpected. Often the classes we didn’t initially plan to take become the ones that stay with us most deeply. Sometimes hearing a teacher speak in person, feeling their energy, or receiving a recommendation from another attendee completely changes what calls to us.

At Spirit Weavers, we intentionally do not offer online pre registration for classes. Part of the beauty of gathering together in person is allowing space for discovery, intuition, and connection to guide the experience once we arrive on the land together.

There are many classes to choose from, and we truly trust that everyone will find meaningful places of learning, inspiration, and connection throughout the weekend. While you may not be able to take every class that interests you, we hope you remain open to the unfolding and trust that you will be exactly where you need to be.

Thank you for your patience, openness, and willingness to grow together in community.

With warmth and care,
Mea
