30 Dec Intuitive Drum Making
This class will include an introduction to visioning with the Drum as an Invocation, creating a 15” circle drum where we will be learning to weave our own drums in a traditional style, and to close, choosing a beater for the drum. Raw Deer hides will be the skins for your chosen drum, a maplewood frame and rawhide lace to fashion and weave this drum into an Instrument. The Intuitive nature of these hand drums comes from the Prayerful Meditation that is called upon to create such a Sacred Item and touches on the Rhythm and Journey that is the Heart Beat of Earth Mother.
