Fati Genese is a lapidary and inlay artist who blends fine art with contemporary jewelry design. Her work, including her line Sea Pony Couture, reflects a playful yet thoughtful aesthetic shaped by a background in sculpture and metalsmithing, with studies at Academy of Art and College of the Redwoods.
She began metalsmithing in high school and has since developed an experimental, hands on approach to inlay through years of study and practice. Drawing inspiration from travel, place, and everyday observation,
Fati brings curiosity, skill, and creative problem solving into her teaching, creating a relaxed and engaging environment for students to explore materials and techniques together.
