06 Jan Em Hexe
My name is Em Hexe (she / they) and I am a queer intellectual mystic residing in occupied Abenaki territory currently called Vermont, where my family has lived for four generations. I am a writer, visual artist, and Tarot reader. My work with Tarot and dreams draws on critical decolonizing theory, intersectional feminist theory, astrology, and alchemy. I have studied with Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Rachel Pollack, Robert Moss, Robert Bosnak, and Dr. Leslie Ellis. I am a member of the Ethics Committee for the International Association for the Study of Dreams, and presented at the 2018 Annual Conference on my personal dreamwork praxis, “Lunar Thinking”, in correlation with lunar symbology in the Tarot, Alchemy, Astrology, and pre-historical Matriarchal societies. I have been writing my dreams down for 18 years, and began my formal study with the Tarot 11 years ago. Dreamwork and Tarot are the main tenets of my spiritual practice, and I am honored to share my learnings with those who are called to work with their dreams and the Arcana.
