Celebration of Life for Denny Boy

We would love to have you join us as we celebrate our favorite Okie, Denny Woodruff.  We will gather at Denny’s favorite time of year at the Woodruff Family home on July 12th just a month after what would have been Denny’s 75th Birthday.  Denny had many friends and family near and far and we hope to see you all there!

We will have a Santa Maria style BBQ, (Denny’s favorite) along with live music and a few surprises along the way.  Feel free to bring your bathing suit and towels if you wish to swim.  For those who wish, beer & wine will be served.

Please park down below along the main road and walk up. We have limited space if you want to camp on the land.  Otherwise you can stay at one of our suggested Accommodations and make a weekend of it. Or feel free to drive home after. We’re about an hour 20 mins from Los Angeles & San Diego

Born and raised in sunny Temecula California, cooking outside was always an option. The pit master was born. Elliot spent all his time creating rubs and sauces, setting timers for hours, which only the committed smoker knows, and perfecting an art. Feeding his family and friends, supplying the highest quality meals made with passion and love was his new full-time job. Elliot prides himself  in scratch cooking, homemade rubs and sauces, along with local and organically sourced ingredients. Elliot also only cooks on hard woods. His dedication to the quality and consistency of his craft is easily seen and enjoyably tasted.
