During this class we will take a journey into the ancient techniques of weaving, where we will not only learn the skill but also discover the therapeutic benefits of working with natural materials.   We will explore the passport of breath and inhalation of sacred resins burned to understand how they effect our consciousness somatically. We will share story of the places and mythos of resins, trees plants and flowers, that their lore of oration is present in our space, deepening the mind and senses with their places of origin. We will go on a plant walk to do offerings to the cedar trees, and to harvest some greens for endemic connection to the land we are on. River Rock Necklaces Join me for a hands-on workshop where we turn found river stones into meaningful, wearable keepsakes. Together, we will walk to the river, learn how to select stones, and safely drill and finish them using lapidary tools. You will create a one of a kind necklace that holds the moments you gather at Spirit Weavers throughout the weekend.
