Living within our means is a practice many have been long indoctrinated out of. Part of this indoctrination has left us disconnected from our relationship with what our needs are and what we’re truly capable of. This often leads to overconsumption and waste because we have forgotten about reverence and we have been farmed into domesticity.
Come take steps into growing your wild and the skill of harvesting your food in reciprocity.
Co-facilitated by Kk Labia and Ali McWeeny, together we will co-create a container for the ancient earth skill of animal transformation. We will move side by side as we meet the threshold of death and transformation of a living being into food. Using only knives, hands and other hand tools we will take life by knife and song, working together to use every part of the animal and integrate it into our bodies and lives. From tongue to tail we will experience how to be with the practical skills as they intertwine with the deeper layers of the cycles of life and death. “We will learn to be in service to those that die so that we can live ” – Harmony Cronin.
