03 Jan Ancient Craft: Bead Weaving Earrings
Learn the meditative and ancient craft of bead weaving. Creating handmade adornments is so uniquely and deeply human. Connect to your primal instincts of working out what’s on the heart, through the hands. This course will gently guide you through every step of the slow and time intensive process of creating a beautiful adornment. We will also hold space for the emotions or insights that come up throughout as the learning cycle can test your patience and teach us to go slow and be easy on ourselves. We are always drawn to different art forms to learn something through the process or from the elements used. Once completed students will have a grounding and life giving meditative process forever. Many students find the process deeply calming, as we weave the beads we unweave our thoughts and connect to our ancient ancestors. The jewelry ends up simply being an after product.
Course fee includes a comprehensive Bead Weaving Kit to take home. Each student will take home their own handcrafted earrings. Bead Weaving Kit includes:
