Akhila is a dreamer, seeker, naturalist, creative, guide, teacher, and forever student who welcomes this opportunity in being a human animal. She is a transpersonal psychologist with a clinical practice based in San Francisco, CA and takes every opportunity she can to live out of a backpack and sleep in alpine air. Akhila weaves the somatic, symbolic, and interpersonal. Professional training in dream analysis and trauma healing, paired with ongoing mentorship in indigenous ways of dreaming, make Akhila especially equipped in supporting people navigating nightmares. Her work evolves as she does, and she is currently unearthing the next iteration of offerings that integrate ecopsychology, ancestral remembering, and social justice.
Akhila Kolesar will be facilitating dream groups in the Dreaming Den and sharing Shadow Work: The Portal of Nightmares.
