Aiyah started her cheesemaking journey 12 years ago after moving to a rural town in southern Oregon where farm fresh, raw goat milk was available. Coming from a background of living on the land, gardening and cooking, it was a natural fit to learn the art of cheesemaking. Aiyah took some classes and began making cheese at home. 4 years ago she started making cheese professionally at a local winery & creamery. She is now the head cheesemaker at the creamery where she helps to crafts a dozen different kinds of cheeses from both organic cow and goat’s milk.
Aiyah Geier will be offering Making Fresh Mozzarella and Burrata.
