10 Jan Medicine Doll Making
This offering is a journey within. Where we will travel in time and thru a guided meditation meet with our inner child and collaborate on the creation and or birth of a doll that represents your all knowing, higher self. This is a craft passed down thru generations, based on traditional Caribbean rag dolls and each adding their own personal magic. Each participant will learn basic hand sewing skills, invaluable tips and tricks, take home a guide and patterns to keep creating endless dolls. We work with natural fabrics, natural dyes, homegrown cotton and encourage you to bring any scraps or trinkets you’d like to add to your doll, tho not necessary. I will provide with everything we need to create a powerful doll.
These dolls are to pray and play. A sweet representation of you or someone you love, can become a perfect gift or a powerful altar piece.
