02 Jan The Hearth of Our Matter~ A Path of Fire and Water
Hailing from the Areola, Breast/Chest Health massage therapist and health practitioner Maya McNeil, will be offering a deep and catalyzing journey into the foundations of Breast, Lymph, and Immune health empowerment through hands on care, education, discussion, and adventure. This is a two day class. The first day will be settling in to our bodies, minds and spaces through somatic massage approaches of sound and release, and then laying the educational groundwork of why Breast/Chest health, the hearth of our matter, is important, powerful, and beneficial on all levels. We will discuss how fire and water presents itself in the body and how we can help our intelligent inner systems function in balance, so we may feel better and present for life.
The second day will be walking our curious talk, from the inside out. After a short review and readying, our group will journey together between the fire and the river. We will wander the edges of bodily discomfort and sensory embodiment, striving to learn the languages of our vessel by the way it speaks through feeling. We will see for ourselves what is possible when we change with our environment, and learn tools to care for ourselves and one another for the rest of our lives. All bodies are wholeheartedly welcome.
