Calling in our new Come-Unity Village team
About The Come-Unity Village
The ComeUnity Village is an inclusive village at SW committed to creating community, conversations and educational opportunities that center issues of equity and collective liberation. All voices and identities are welcome. We bravely gather and meet challenging edges with openness. Our approach is holistic and trauma informed. We value intellectual, somatic, emotional, spiritual, and relational methods of healing the wounds of separation. We foster and celebrate diversity and aim to support building bridges of resiliency and mutual understanding among folx from all walks of life. We acknowledge we may all be at different places along our journeys of sacred remembrance, and we welcome you into our village just as you are in this present moment. We offer a space where folx can come and exist bravely. In this space we have books, medicines and other energetic salves for your heart and soul.
We are available daily to hold space for individuals and relationships that need support or guidance in developing awareness around the ways they relate and/or wish to relate with themselves and others within and outside of the gathering. Our classes and offerings reflect our commitment to liberated spaces.
Join the Come-Unity Village Team
This role requires a love of the gathering and care for all the participants. It is a sense of reciprocity in how the gathering has held you over the years, and wanting to hold the gathering in return.
The way that we operate is a calling-in of others, including ourselves, with solution-based approach that focuses on not-negating what doesn’t work, but creating ways to address what arises and support all participants as a culture in stepping into this way of being so that the CUV can eventually cease to exist, because we all show up with this approach.
We are looking to find 6 new team members to make up the Come-Unity Village for the 2023 Spirit Weavers Gathering and beyond.
We want you to feel an embodied understanding of the role you are applying for so you can fully show up with excitement and clarity. Please know the new 2023 CUV team members will be in direct contact with previous CUV team members throughout the 2023 gathering for support both pre-gathering and on the land.
