Thank you for being here. I’d love to share a bit about my journey so you can feel into whether we’re the right fit for one another.

After more than a decade of working for myself and building multiple thriving businesses from the ground up, I’m now opening space to offer personal and professional mentorship, strategy, and support for those nurturing a business, creative project, or heartfelt vision of their own.

Growing up in Southern California, I had the gift of watching my father build his own printing business,  a company that has now been thriving for over 40 years. I loved sitting beside my mother helping with bookkeeping, writing checks, and observing the rhythm of a family-run business built with care and dedication. Entrepreneurship felt natural to me from an early age.

As a child, I was constantly creating little businesses of my own, gathering flowers from my mamas gardens to arrange into bouquets, offering manicures and acrylic nails to friends in the 80s, and of course designing business cards for every new idea with the help of my dad’s print shop. I’ve always loved bringing visions into form.

College was never strongly encouraged in my family, so after high school I stepped directly into working alongside my father, where I learned invaluable business and organizational skills. I later studied photography at a local community college, a creative tool that has woven its way through every chapter of my life and business journey since.

In 2006, when Etsy was just beginning, I became one of the early leather artisans on the platform, crafting guitar straps, wallets, and jewelry while traveling and selling alongside musician friends. Shortly after, I moved to New Zealand with my beloved Agustin, where I continued creating handmade goods while documenting our travels and life as new parents through my blog, Daughter of the Sun.

When we arrived back on Kauai in 2008 to birth and raise our daughter Naia, a photograph of me practicing yoga while breastfeeding went viral, unexpectedly drawing thousands of women and mothers to my writing and online presence. That experience opened my eyes to how deeply women were longing for spaces where motherhood, nourishment, self-care, and authenticity could be seen and normalized.

Not long after, while spending much of my 20s attending ancestral skills gatherings, I became deeply inspired by the magic that happens when people come together to share knowledge, creativity, music, craft, and meaningful connection in nature. Those experiences planted a seed in me and awakened a longing to create a space specifically centered around women, one rooted in beauty, belonging, skill-sharing, and ceremony.  In 2013, that vision became the Spirit Weavers Gathering,  an annual women’s gathering that now welcomes thousands each year into a nourishing and celebratory village rooted in beauty, skill-sharing, and community.

In 2017, we purchased nearly 100 acres in Southern Oregon as a permanent home for the gathering. What began as a dream for Spirit Weavers soon blossomed into Cedar Bloom, a retreat space, campground, and sanctuary nestled along the Illinois River. Over the years, our small team has lovingly built cabins, domes, bath houses, saunas, gathering spaces, a commercial kitchen, camp store, and more, creating a place where people can reconnect with nature, rest, and community.

Through all of these experiences, I’ve learned that building something meaningful requires far more than strategy alone. It asks for vision, resilience, creativity, intuition, consistency, and the willingness to keep showing up even when the path ahead is uncertain.

Now, after years of bringing dreams into reality, I feel excited to support others on their own journey of creation and service.
