Callie Blue Heron North

I am a mother, herbalist, teacher, partner, multi creative, and traveler.

My life has been shaped by a consistent rhythm of curiosity and by acting on my highest excitement when opportunities arise. I’ve been studying herbalism for more than 15 years and have run a brick-and-mortar apothecary since 2016 on the island where I grew up.

I’ve been teaching in person for many years, and last year I created an online container for my work, where I host long-form, hands-on herbalism and ritual-based courses.

A significant part of my current life path and skills teaching has been shaped by spending 72 days living solo off the land in the foothills of the Andes, an experience documented on the show Alone. I later went on to co-host the official Alone podcast and participate in the spin-off series Alone: The Skills Challenge.

My partner and I, along with our two children, spend a part of the year traveling, as I have since I was a teenager. My work as a teacher is oriented around supporting people in reconnecting with their own lineage, inviting relationship with herbal medicine through personal history, ancestry, and lived experience.

We spend time each year at skills gatherings, learning and teaching. This will be my first time sharing my work at Spirit Weavers.

Calli North will be teaching Rose Medicine :: Journey of the Heart.
