Moorea Masa is a full-time musician and artist with an equally deep passion for food and Italian culture. Her father immigrated from Lanzada, a small alpine village in Northern Italy, where life moves slowly and everything is made with care—from scratch, by hand, and most often with local ingredients foraged or traded among neighbors.
Growing up, Moorea spent her summers in Lanzada, learning to cook alongside her father and aunties in cozy kitchens tucked into the mountains. These experiences rooted her in the beauty of simple, seasonal cooking and the joy of sharing a meal made with love.
Moorea brings that same spirit to her pasta-making workshops—inviting others to slow down, get their hands in the dough, and connect with the old-world rhythms of food, family, and community.
Moorea will be teaching Traditional Pasta Making.
