Zavi is a writer and researcher whose work has been published by Salon, Chicago Reader, The Rumpus, Broccoli Magazine, and others. She holds an MA in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago and is currently the Anne Waldman Fellow at the Jack Kerouac School at Naropa University.
