11 Dec Wet-Felting Potholders
Wet felting is an ancient practice that is fun and magical – in this class we will be taking raw sheeps’ wool and processing it with our hands, warm water and soap to create beautiful and functional fabric. This is an introduction to a wet-felting technique that can be used to felt bags, hats and even blankets from raw wool. We will be making potholders together, and once your potholders are dry you can needle felt designs with a variety of hand-dyed sheeps’ wool from the hills of northern California.
Wet-Felting Potholders will be shared by Lauren Ruth
