Valerie is a dedicated believer in holistic healing, faith, and deep love. As a young child, she was sweetly influenced by her Grandmother who was a practitioner of Curanderismo and a healer herself. She learned how to heal and be healed, and live in the spirit of deep devotion and divine love. Today, Valerie’s medicine looks a bit different than her Grandmother’s, but she leans into the belief that all medicine, rooted in love, is ultimately the same.
Valerie’s journey with holistic health brought her to a blend of and deep appreciation for the practices of Yoga, Ayurveda, Jyotish, Gong Sound Healing, and finally–Curanderismo.
She integrates planetary alignments into Gong Sound Healing Gatherings, weaves Ayurveda into Teacher Trainings, and cultivates a mix of Ayurvedic Body Therapies, Jyotish, Curanderismo, and Restorative Yoga in Gong Therapy offerings. The interweaving of these practices holds the potential to meet others where they are, offer affirmation, and heal holistically.
Led by the wisdom of ancestors and a deep reverence for the practices, Valerie offers gratitude to the earth below, the sky above, and to the path itself.
