Tonya honors her lineage as a third generation death/grief worker by intentionally normalizing death. It is her intention to honor and acknowledge death for the beautiful thing it is. She celebrates it the way we celebrate birth. She has done this work for 15 years alongside singing, herbalism, and cooking food as medicine.
