21 Dec Recomposing: Fungi Consciousness
Recomposing integrates the rhythmic, cyclic, and healing qualities of fungi and embodied presence. Fungi are the grand inhabitants of realms above and below. Join us as we hold space for the ancient teachers of our community ecosystems who are recomposers, or life-givers, just as they are decomposers. The fungi are a framework for showing us how we can more fully embody our own fruiting bodies, realize transformation, heal our co-creation with the planet(s), and find inner peace.
We will explore who the fungi are, what they do for the earth, the Fruiting Fungus Life Cycle, and how their wisdom and love can be applied to healing for life on earth, in realms seen and unseen. Students will be invited to explore fruiting body movements, sounds, and meditations to ground, embody, and integrate fungal concepts. Students will leave with a deeper confidence in how to find, identify, and sustainably harvest their own mushrooms, how to connect with fungal consciousness, and how to make mushroom medicines.
Recomposing: Fungi Medicine will be shared by Gabriela D’Elia.
