I’ve been natural dyeing for a decade. My mentors are a collaborative group called The Fiber Shed founded by Rebecca Burgess. I’ve been offering workshops for the past 8 years and have a lots of experience facilitating groups with creative projects. My ancestral lineage is Northern European/ Germanic and Polish. My relationship with the lineage of my craft is with great respect. Natural dyeing is one of the oldest methods of art found all over the world and the relationship with textiles and plants feels very deep in my bones. A variety of plants have provided the color Indigo for centuries and although my ancestors are not from Asia or India, I make sure to share and educate from a place of transparency and respect for all cultures.
