Portia Richardson

I am a holistic and integrative healer and teacher – with special interest in embodiment practices and healing trauma, personalized medicine and constitutional wellness, womxn’s health & empowerment, collective consciousness and global transformation, multidimensional paradigm shifting, subquantum magic, spiritual activism, and taboo breaking.

I teach graduate courses at the University of Minnesota’s Center for Spirituality and Healing, hold regular group events and virtual programs through my private practice Tall Reeds Healing Arts.

I have studied with many mentors in various wisdom traditions over the years and am an avid self-directed learner. I believe a “good” education comes in many forms – the most powerful of which is the divine mystery of direct knowing.

I have experience in a broad array of mind-body-spirit therapies and meditative practices, medicinal herbs, food therapy, several styles of bodywork and energy medicine, quantum healing, sound healing, ceremonial and ritual work, channeling and intuitive guidance.

You can read more about me on my website: www.tallreedshealingarts.com
And follow my self-exploratory musings via my Instagram page: @scinn.laece.

My blood lineage ancestors came from the lands of Scandinavia, the British Isles, Western Europe, Mediterranean/ Southern Europe, Finland and Northwestern Russian – between the 1700’s to mid-1800’s – and colonized traditional lands of the Shawnee and Cherokee peoples throughout the Appalachian region of the United States (now Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Georgia).

I am also a queer person (she/they), artist, musician, mother, partner, witch, activist, channel, and bridge – in constant evolution – currently living and loving in South Minneapolis, Minnesota – better known as the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe (Chippewa, Ojibwe) and Dakota (Sioux) peoples.

I will be sharing two classes this year:

As well as holding space in the Come Unity Village.

I look forward to connecting with you!
