Passage Craft Rite of Passage Ritual Creation

Featured ImageWe are living in a time where so many of us are feeling a loss of meaning in our lives and a disconnection from old ways of being. With each season of life, there is a rite of passage or initiation that marks the end of one and the beginning of the next. But with the passing of time and the modernizing of our world, we have lost many of these rituals and kept only slivers of the meaning in the ones we still hold on to. It is essential to our sense of belonging to the earth, to our bodies, and to each other that we mark the moments of transformation in our lives. This acknowledgement supports us in consciously stepping forward into new roles in our lives, while also allowing space to grieve and say goodbye to the ones we are stepping out of.
During this workshop, we will bring emotional and sacred tending to transitions we’ve gone through in our lives that didn’t feel like they received enough honoring. We’ll drop in to a sacred circle – offering up our tender hearts, vulnerable stories, and deep truths in service to the rituals we will each craft and carry out to provide healing and completion. There will be journaling, there will be reflection, there will be sharing, and there will be planning so that participants can design their own personal ritual or self-ceremony to bring the much needed honoring to the life moments they wished had felt more sacred and seen at the time.
