07 Jan Mindfulness Adornment Gateway
Waist beads are a traditional African accessory that consist of small glassbeads on a string or wire worn around the waist or hips. They come in different colors and shapes and may also include decorative stones, crystals, or charms.
Waist beads have been worn for centuries by women in many West African cultures. In more recent years they’ve gained popularity among women in the West. They’re also referred to as belly beads, waistline beads, or beaded waist chains.
In Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, and other West African countries, waist beads are a symbol of femininity, fertility, power, to show royalty, sensuality, and spiritual well-being.
In this Masterclass:
you will learn the history, culture, purpose and intention of waistbeads at its origination.

WE are celebrating the womb + energy magic! Let’s talk about the power of the pu$$y portal!
Each guest is asked to bring one item to place on our womb altar (check our stories (@hanashealinghouse) for our IGTV on “Altars”. Suggestions: maybe it’s a crystal or your favorite tea that soothes you during your moon cycle. Maybe it’s a food offering, maybe it’s a picture you were inspired to paint or a poem you wrote, for this experience specifically. Pray/Meditate + bring whatever you are called to add the space.
Mindfulness Adornment Gateway will be shared by Nefertiti Nulah
