29 Dec Mana Moon Circle
Mana Moon Circle is an intimate hands on experience of the healing art of Hawaiian lomi lomi massage and ho’oponopono (a hawaiian peace making process). This sacred ceremony begins with ha (breath) and pule (prayer) giving thanks to Ke Akua (creator), Aumakua (spirit guides), Kupuna (ancestors) … asking for guidance, protection and healing for all those who are called to attend. We will pull an oracle card to set our intentions. And listen to the sweet sounds of ukulele and original mantra music to help ground and connect us. Hawaiian sea salt and wai (water) will be incorporated into the ritual for clearing, cleansing and healing. Along with gentle stretches to help awaken our kino (bodies) as we learn active listening tools that will help create a safe space to share openly and honestly from the heart and soul. And learn simple yet effective Hawaiian lomi lomi massage techniques that can be practiced on each other and used to help mālama (take care) of our ʻOhana (family) at home. We will close the ceremony with pule (prayer) and a journal reflection. Approx length of class: 2.5 hours. Haumana (students) are recommended to wear comfy clothing + bring a towel to sit on + pen/paper for journaling + water to stay hydrated. Mahalo nui.
