06 Jan Macrame wall hangings
This workshop is open to all levels. From people who have never tied a knot to experienced knotters.
You will learn the basics of macrame to create your own macrame wall-hanging artwork.
We will wander the land and gather a piece of wood that speaks to us and bring it back to our space to knot together. We will hold and intention and knot our dreams into the very weave of our piece.
From basic macrame knots to macraweave techniques, you will play and explore texture, color, and more in this workshop.
You will likely complete your piece in this class, as we will make artwork that measures around 12 inches to 2 feet long. If you feel inspired to make something larger, know that this offering will be a good place to begin your project.
