Tai Chi (Power and Flow)
This 2 hour class is aimed to cover a complete full body experience, from internal energy work to the mechanics of relaxed power. In the traditional training methods of Tai Chi, we will explore deep stances, meditation, therapeutic movements, balance and flexibility. This is a great introduction to Tai Chi for all levels, beginner and advanced both welcome. We will begin with a qi gong breathing set to activate and warm the meridians, blood, and joints. Followed by stretching, Tai Chi footwork, fluidity exercises, cloud hands, and silk reeling. Tai Chi as a martial movement meditation offers a beautiful balance of softness and empowerment.
This class can be followed from an indoor or outdoor setting. We recommend having some space to move around, at least a couple feet in each direction. Wear comfortable clothing if you can, barefoot or thin soled shoes.
