Kayla Starr is a lifelong political activist, focusing in the last 25 years on non-violent direct action campaigns to stop nuclear power plants and deployment of nuclear weapons, address violence against women, protest wars and climate chaos. She was part of shutting down the WTO in the “battle of Seattle”, has traveled to Israel/Palestine with Code Pink, worked with Earth First to protect old growth forests, founded one of the first Battered Women’s Shelters in California, facilitated numerous non-violence trainings. She learned magical activism with Starhawk and the Reclaiming Collective. She is in awe with the power of ritual to create a better world.
