Julie has been a seaweed harvester on the Mendocino Coast of California for more than twenty years. She teaches annual foraging and kelp nutrition classes for the Berkeley Herbal College, the Sonoma County Herb Exchange and herb fairs and festivals throughout the state. She is a certified Acupressurist and Shamanic Journeying practitioner and combines her journeying work in all her classes. Since 2010 she has sold high quality dried sea vegetables through her company – Yemaya Seaweeds.
