Heartful Homeschooling

Heartful Homeschooling is a guided conversation to support, resource, and deepen our connection to the spiritual call of homeschooling. The choice to educate our own children can be all at once empowering, beautiful, deeply challenging and sometimes painful. Together, we will bring awareness to our values and beliefs about schooling with a particular focus on our individual relationships to “failure” and “success”. Conventional education methods often involve a great deal of manipulation, shame, and reward psychology, and those of us that received this type of schooling can unconsciously bring this conditioning into our homes. This means that educating our children offers an incredible healing opportunity for us as individuals and community members.

A child’s natural curiosity and wonder are some of Creator’s greatest gifts, and our intention through this class is to examine the stories we carry that may prevent us from fully participating in our children’s joy. We seek to nourish methods of relating to our children from a place of authenticity, respect, and trust. This class is open to anyone curious about learning strategies to support themselves, children, or loved ones on the homeschooling journey – past, present, or future.
