20 Dec Hand-Loom Weaving
Laura Lopez will be sharing her traditional weaving knowledge helping students create their own unique handwoven scarf/sash/belt. Laura will teach you how to use simple tools to weave a beautiful piece of material with colorful cotton yarn. This class is a full day commitment. Once you have your loom set up you can come and go from it (and possibly weave while participating in other “listening” classes) but in order to complete your project, one should anticipate spending a full day with it. The end result will be a gorgeous piece of handwoven materiel for you to use and adorn yourself with!
